New Features

One of the most notable updates is the cast aluminium top cover, designed with several innovative improvements:

  • Water-Cooled Element: Absorbs radiant engine heat, resulting in a temperature reduction of up to 15°C (20%).

  • Noise Reduction: Combined with the new air filter, it achieves 5 dB(A) sound reduction, offering near-silent operation at cruising speeds around 2200 rpm.

  • Functional Design: The water-cooled top cover also doubles as a step, enhancing accessibility around the engine.

In addition to this breakthrough, the redesigned M-Line introduces several user-friendly upgrades for both boat builders and end users:

  • Easy Access Service Parts:
Fuses & relays (A), fuel filter & connections (B), impeller (C), oil dipstick (D), and oil filter (E) are all positioned for easy maintenance.

  • Front-Mounted Impeller (M4 Engines): Simplifies servicing and improves accessibility.

  • Enhanced Wiring System: Offers safer and easier connections.

  • Electric Fuel Pump (F): Standard on all M-Line engines, controlled by the ignition switch.

  • New Air Inlet Filter Housing (G): Reduces induction sound and smoothens airflow.

  • Improved Heat Exchanger: Features 26 design enhancements including upgraded materials and surface treatments.

  • Safety-Oriented Plastic Front Cover: Protects pulleys and belts while complying with EC Machinery Directive standards.

  • Optional Front-Mounted Oil & Fuel Filters (H): Makes servicing even more convenient.

All M-Line engines come standard with:

  • Instrument panel

  • Four flexible engine mountings

  • Oil sump pump
